Access Statement:
1. Jacks House was built in the 1890?s. Due to the age and construction of the property there is limited accessibility, steps to the ground level within the bar/lounge/dining area and the sunken garden area situated at the front.
As the guesthouse is unable to be fitted with any form of lift to the upper floors, access by wheelchair users is not possible, walking disabled will be able to access the upper floors.
2. Any guest with a disability who requires help to make their stay more comfortable will be given the help they require assuming it is within our capabilities.
3. If any guest with a disability has any constructive criticism that would enhance the quality of their own or any future guest?s stay at Jacks House please let us know. We will do our best to act on your comments if possible.
4. We have been able to make small adjustments within the guesthouse ; those that have been changed will be of help to our guests.
5. We have the contact details for the nearest hire shop for anyone requiring the use of a wheel chair (electric or manual).
6. We are here to assist with your requirements but apologise if we are unable to fulfil any request whilst staying at Jacks House.
7. We do not wish to offend any guests with the content of this statement.
